This is a grey eyeliner that is smooth and has a good colour intensity.

I love it on, it is subtle but nice.

Same Product, Different Colour - Bianca J Professional - Eye Brow Pencil - BJEB20

I did use this as an eyeliner, because I don't have grey eyebrows at the moment.

Even used this way, I can tell it will be too hard for an eyebrow pencil. 

The colour intensity is very poor :(

This is a blue-dark grey metallic polish with a strange grittiness to it.
I can't say I like it.

Two coats.

Art break - Wall art for R

R had a thin line of unpainted wall above his cistern replaced with a smaller one. He wanted it covered and I offered to design something for him.

Requirements:
- Non-wall damaging (rented apartment).
- Waterproof.
- Simple.

So I decided to use some clear plastic and acrylic paint (which could be mounted to the wall with blu-tack). The soft clear plastic also gave a flexibility, meaning it can be moulded to the wall-cistern join.

I made geometric shapes with painting tape and then painted them, with swirls and dabs to give interesting textures to the paint.

Remember: take the photo, then start the painting!

The colours I used were purple, grey, green and pink. These were to match the decor in R's house.

When it was all painted, I coated the paint with some varnish to help seal it.

Then I cut around the shapes with scissors and mounted it.

Verdict: He didn't like it. And that's okay. You don't always get it right. The important thing is to keep on trying and keep learning new skills and techniques. 

(... Also, he will probably never get around to changing it. Muhahahaha! :p) 

Art break - part 5, the wall

For the wall, I was thinking a stone wall would be pretty cool. Something like this:

I was thinking of a blue/purple stone wall, like this:

But with the yellow hills and red in the sky, it would look too much like colour-blocking.

Colour-blocking in fashion. Note how it doesn't f**king match or look like it belongs.

So I was thinking of a grey/brown. Also, you will notice that in this example, the stones have different colours:

So, I tried to make each stone different:

Not sure how I feel about it thus far, but I can always change it.

Is this level of self-doubt normal? Do I always experience this?

I will sleep on it and look at it with fresh eyes! :D
