Scott Cornwall - Decolour - Hair Colour Remover - Super Strength Formula

I've had red hair for a while, but I have decided to move back to my original hair colour.

So before hair treatment:

I took a before photo!

And after:

Pretty close to my natural colour!

I will warn you, there are a lot of steps to this and I highly recommend buying extra gloves.

There is still a little red, but there was a lot of dye in my hair.
I am super happy with the results!

This product is the real deal!

Price: 2/5 ($24.99)
Scent: 1/5 (not too stinky!)
Effectiveness: 4.5/5

Same Product, Different Colour - Schwarzkopf - Brilliance Intense Permanent Colour - 43 Red Passion

I'm going to level with you guys, I don't recall when I used this one.
But the box is in my blogging box, so I probably did use it.
Since the box isn't covered in curse words, I'm lead to believe that it was much like the other shades in this line.
Schwarzkopf sure know how to offer a range of red shades! (Don't stop ever)

Same Product, Different Colour - Schwarzkopf - Brilliance Intense - Permanent Colour - 37 Hypnotic Red

I did a before shot!!!

Ok, I used this colour last time and am really just redoing the roots but this is progress, people!

The colour of this shade really holds, as you can see by the before photo.

I asked Ma if she wanted to wrap my head in cling film, she said 'yes' before she even knew why I was asking.
We spend too much time together.

And the after:

Cinta - Colour Highlight Shampoo - Auburn

My sister (the good one) gave this to me as it wouldn't work on her hair. She has thick, straight locks. I have fine, super absorbent, crazy hair. I think you can already guess, this worked perfectly for me. XD

My sister VS Me
This shampoo can be used two ways. As a colour supporting shampoo or as a dye, the difference is how long you leave it in your hair.

The colourant is henna, so if you have and allergy be warned.

It smells soapy and not unpleasant. As a shampoo, it cleaned well and had a good lather.

Overall, this was a pretty good product (for me).

Price: 2/5 ($9.99 for 250mL)
Scent: 2.5/5
Effectiveness: 5/5

Schwarzkopf - Brilliance Intense Permanent Colour - 85 Violet Vision

I got this after I decided I didn't want to keep putting (non-permanent) pink in my bleached hair. I wanted a permanent shade to grow out.
I went with purple because my sister suggested it XP

I thought this would be a good product for my purposes.

Initially, the colour was great, but after a few weeks, all of the blue tones were gone and my hair was just red :C

I really expected better from Schwarzkopf.

Price: 3/5 ($14.99)
Scent: 1/5 (standard hair dye smell)
Effectiveness: 1/5

Schwarzkopf - Nordic Blonde, L1++ Ultimate Lightener

I used this to bleach my hair when transitioning from dark to hot pink.
I would have taken photos, but because the amount of red in my hair it came out orange.
Here is a close approximation to how it looked:

Not the bombshell blonde I imagined, but it was my own fault.
This product was easy to use, smelt terrible (like a bleach will), and didn't damage my hair.

And it let me achieve this:

Price: 4/5 ($10.79 a box)
Scent: 0/5 (bleach)
Effectiveness: 4.5/5

Same Product, Different Colour - Schwarzkopf - Live Colour - Ultra Brights, Cotton Candy Pink

My mum has this theory that hair dye gives you cancer and the darker the dye, the worse it is... I do not agree.
However, to keep her happy when I needed to touch up my pink hair, I went with a pastel pink dye.

It improved the colour quite a bit (my hair being bleached at this stage) and being the blogging genius that I am, I didn't take any before and after photos.

Brite - Make Me Pastel Pink Shampoo

I was using this while I had pink hair to maintain the colour intensity.
This did add significant colour and cleaned well (which is nice for a dual-purpose shampoo).
The only issue I have with it is some staining of my neck (which the shampoo tends to run down), but this is mild.

Price: 3/5 ($19.99 for 300mL)
Scent: 2/5 (generic mild alkali smell)
Effectiveness: 4.5/5

Revlon Professional - Nutri Color Creme - Fondant Colors, 005 pink

This seemed like a lovely colour, but I fear my unbleached hair was too dark to notice any change after using this product.
Otherwise it was easy enough to work with :)

The name bugs me, it is not a fondant (too runny) and it is spelt 'colour'!

I can't really say much more, I just wanted it to refresh my pink hair and it did that to an extent

Price: 1/5 (rrp $24.95 for 100mL)
Scent: 4/5 (kind of floral)
Effectiveness: 3/5

Same Product, Different Colour - Schwarzkopf - Live Colour - Ultra Brights, Shocking Pink

After having red hair for a while, I decided to switch it up and do something I have always wanted to do... I dyed my hair pink!

This product acted just the same as the 'Red Embers' version, and I just love my new hair colour!
I didn't bleach it prior, so I got a lovely dark pink shade :)

Do we love it, or do we love it? :D

This shade also smelled like raspberry which is pretty cool.

... my parental units don't know yet...

Schwarzkopf - Live Colour - Red Embers

So, as I may or may not have mentioned, I dyed my hair red.
I did this with a permanent colour and while the result was nice, I wanted to make the colour more vibrant.
Enter the '8 washes' Schwarzkopf live colour!
This is a semi-permanent colour treatment that will wash out bit-by-bit (and the shower water will look like it is from 'Psycho')

The colour it added was quite true to what was shown on the box and it made my hair smell like hair dye (love that chemical-lly smell, by the way)

And because I am a great blogger, I didn't take any photos o.O

Price: 5/5 (rrp $4.89 for one box)
Scent: 1/5 (oh so traditional hair dye smell)
Effectiveness: 5/5
