Colourpop - Ultra Matte Lip - Fresh Cut

This is a opaque matte liquid lipstick from Colourpop.


In the tube it looks like a light pink-beige, on it is a darker medium pink.

I wish the tube would better reflect the true colour.

It is a super wearable shade however and is very long lasting.

This is a opaque matte liquid lipstick from Colourpop.

In the tube it looks like a medium pink-beige, on it is much darker, and almost a muted red.

I wish the tube would better reflect the true colour.

It is a very wearable shade however and is very long lasting.

It is a bit drying, but is ok.

Except Victoria Donelda recently mentioned in a vlog that she finds it far to drying... ugh! If you have issues with a product, say it! 
Don't use it all the time in make up looks like it's perfect! >:(

This is a opaque matte liquid lipstick from Colourpop.

Bright morning light.

In the tube it looks like a light pink-beige, on it is much darker, pretty much a medium pink-brown.

Evening light.

I wish the tube would better reflect the true colour.

It is a very wearable shade however and is very long lasting.

Colourpop - Ultra Matte Lip - Viper

This is a really nice, opaque, liquid lipstick from Colourpop.

A company I looked  into just because of Victoria Donelda.

In the tube, it looks like a pink-purple (mauve) but on it is just purple.
(I have a friend who won't wear any pink lipstick and she could wear this).

It is darker than in the tube!!!!!

It is a very wearable purple though, not too dark or bright.
It dries matte and survives a lot of eating/drinking/gentle kissing.
I did kiss PB too hard and had this smeared on him (so not smooch-proof).

I just wish the tube look was more accurate.

ASPAR - Aurora Spa Rituals - Ultra Hydrating Face Moisturiser

This is surprisingly thick!

It leaves a heavy residue on the skin (almost like a barrier cream).

Unfortunately it smells like flour and play-do, I don't want that on my face, near my nose.

Art Break - Lipstick Gift for Miss Buttons

Miss Buttons really liked the look of the Revlon Ultra Matte liquid lipstick in 'Love' so I thought I would get her one.
I had to go to four different stores to find one, they are either popular or in low stock.

Next time we meet, we are going to wear pearls and be fancy ladies, so that gave me a theme for the packaging.
So I used a Bellabox

And painted the inside red, swirling the paint to look like a bed of rose petals.

For the outside, I was just going to cover it in pearls, but I didn't like the result.

meh

So I cut up some (biodegradable) plastic bag as petals and made a flower.

That's more like it!

I put some pearls in the middle of the flower as well.

To keep the lipstick in place, I glued down some single sticky sided foam (the sticky side facing up for the lipstick).

Once it was all dry, I stuck in the lipstick.

And we are done!

Verdict: She loved it! :D
