Art Break! - Teddy Bear Piñata

So for this piñata I used two balloons, one for the head and one for the body.
I used parts of an egg carton to make the legs, ears, and nose.

For the glue it is just water, flour, and a little salt to stop any mold from growing... and Lil ate some :/

The paper can be newspaper, scrap paper, pages from a book no one should ever read, etc.

First bits of paper placed.

Excuse my little container of supplements.

Then a layer of newspaper. The newspaper is so much nicer to work with (stupid shitty book can't even craft good).

I added a layer of yellow tissue paper to help hide some of the darkness of the newspaper.

I cut a door in the back to remove the balloons. This is where we will put our sweets/surprises.

On the paws and in the ears, I painted it bright yellow.

Starting with the legs and ears, the frayed tissue paper was added.

I added black eyes and a brown heart nose.

I also added a ribbon around its neck.
All done!

Verdict: They loved it and called it 'Sunshine'. :D

Soap & Glory - Hand Food - Hydrating Hand Cream

The bottle asks if this is 'the most astonishing hand cream ever?",it is not.
It is decidedly lame.

It smells like flour and aloe vera, leaves a lot of residue on the hands, and isn't hydrating at all.

Pfft, don't bother.

This is surprisingly thick!

It leaves a heavy residue on the skin (almost like a barrier cream).

Unfortunately it smells like flour and play-do, I don't want that on my face, near my nose.

The instructions say to apply it in the morning... you aren't the boss of me, bottle!

The thin fluid smells like vinegar and flour... WHY!?!

Brazilian Butterfly - Gorgeous Goji Berry - Body Lotion

This is nice and thick. It absorbs well and is quite moisturising.

It unfortunately smells like flour and cranberries, which is awful!
Every time I caught a whiff of it, it really bugged me.

Perhaps give this one a miss.

L'Occitane - Fleurs de Cerisier - Shimmering Lotion

There is one thing I really hate about this product and I will never buy it again because of this - the packaging is IMPOSSIBLE!

The lotion is too viscous to pour out and the bottle plastic is too rigid to squeeze.
It looks pretty but is completely impractical!
And because it angered me so much I will NEVER buy it again!

Which is sad because the shimmer in it is nice and soft, it soaks in well, and it is nice and thick.

It smells like floury to me, so not the greatest scent, but not an offensive scent either.
