L'Occitane - Immortelle Precious Cream

This is a very thick cream that has a wheat-like scent.
It is a thick cream that absorbs well and leaves your skin feeling nourished.
In terms of the packaging, I will never not be a fan of blue glass.

Price: 1/5 ($87.00 for 50mL)
Scent: 2.5/5
Effectiveness: 5/5

L'Occitane - Arlésienne Hand Cream

This is a hand cream with the floral scent of the L'Occitane perfume Arlésienne.
So immediately we can say it smells lovely.

The name comes from the play 'L'Arlésienne' which is set in Provence, France.
This location connects to the L'Occitane brand.

The cream itself is rich and moisturising.

While it does absorb to an extent, it does leave a little bit of a residue on the hands, but I like that personally.

It's a shame that I don't think they sell this any more.

Price: 2/5 ($14 for 30mL)
Scent: 5/5
Effectiveness: 4.5/5

L'Occitane - Créme Perfectrice - A L'Extrait De Pivoine

Oh, why do you cost so much!? I love you so much!

I purchased this back when I was feeling down and didn't regret it at all!

First, the packaging is gorgeous. Pink and silver, the glass jar would look at home on a old Hollywood vanity.

The cream smells of peony, which is delightful. It is rich, absorbs quickly, and has the faintest pink tint (can you tell I love pink?)
It leaves skin feeling moisturised, dewy, and not suffocated.

I love this so much! If I were rich I would use it every day.

If I were a rich man...

Price: 1/5 ($65 for 50mL)

L'Occitane - Fleurs de Cerisier - Shimmering Lotion

There is one thing I really hate about this product and I will never buy it again because of this - the packaging is IMPOSSIBLE!

The lotion is too viscous to pour out and the bottle plastic is too rigid to squeeze.
It looks pretty but is completely impractical!
And because it angered me so much I will NEVER buy it again!

Which is sad because the shimmer in it is nice and soft, it soaks in well, and it is nice and thick.

It smells like floury to me, so not the greatest scent, but not an offensive scent either.

'I wanna shine bright like a diamond' Solution:

Arlésienne Beautifying Powder <3 smells divine!

Price: 1/5 ($39 for 250mL)
Scent: 1/5
Effectiveness: 4/5 (lost point for that damn bottle)

L'Occitane - Roses et Reines - Beautifying Body Milk

Back to my favourite high-end beauty brand!
I have already mentioned, I love the Roses et Reines scent and this body lotion smells just like the hand cream! <3

I'm really glad they called it a body milk, because it is quite thin (low viscosity). The thinness quickening the rate that it is absorbed into the skin.

In addition to the delicate scent, which lingers after applied, it is also a beautiful pink colour (Which I am living for!)

Price: 1/5 (rrp $27.00 for 250mL)
Scent: 5/5
Effectiveness: 5/5

L'Occitane - Amande Shower Oil
This is a LUXURY product! Silky smooth oil that lathers up beautifully and smells like a cyanide-impregnated cloud (but in a good way?... I have a thing about almond, I can't even eat marzipan without freaking out).

This almond-scented shower oil will leave your skin feeling and smelling fantastic!
It contains sweet almond, bergamot, sunflower and rosemary.

If someone gives you a bottle of this, it means they love you! (I gave this to myself, so I guess I love me :D)

Get a travel bottle and try it!

Price: 1/5 (rrp $36.00 for 250mL)
Scent: 5/5 (heaven)
Effectiveness: 5/5

L'Occitane - Crème Divine - Immortelle Divine cream

I LOVE this cream! If I had sufficient funds, this would be my night cream, forever!

I love the smell (flowers, lemon, honey, spring, joy), the oils in it, the texture, how it soaks in.... I love this.

The only thing I don't love is the price :(
I will confess, I purchased a full size jar once as a gift to myself, but it will be a while before I can do that again.

What more can I say? I'm in love <3

Price: 0.5/5 (rrp $145 for 50mL)
Scent: 5/5
Effectiveness: 4.5/5

L'Occitane - Rose 4 Reines - Velvet Hand Cream
This hand cream! THIS! YASSSSSSSSSSSS!

It soaks in so well! Like Crabtree & Evelyn hand therapy well!
It will leave your hands soft, non-greasy and smelling delightful!

This smells EXACTLY like this soap sphere I had when I was ~6 years old. And do you know what I did?
It smelt so good I tried to eat it!

This is MY scent!

Some may find it a bit too 'Old lady floral', but for me it will always be youth :p

Solution:
Just try it!

Price: 2/5 (rrp $13 for 30mL)
Scent: 5/5 (yassss!)
Effectiveness: 5/5

L'Occitane - Shea Butter - Foot Cream
This foot cream has a property that I haven't encountered in another foot cream yet: it is oily... and I LOVE IT!

The skin on our feet doesn't produce a great deal of oil by itself, so to give it a little extra boost, an oily foot cream seems brilliant (to me, at least).

This rich formula smells beautiful with coconut, lavender, rosemary and sunflower oil and is best put on at night, with socks over it, for an easy foot treatment.

Obviously don't walk around your house with oils on your feet, or you will have a bad time.

Solution to not being able to walk:
Anyone else remember scooter boards from primary school? :p

Price: 3.5/5 (rrp $12.00 for 30mL)
Scent: 5/5
Effectiveness: 5/5

L'Occitane En Provence - Precious Night Cream

This night cream (from my favourite store that I shouldn't let myself go into, of course) is lovely and rich, making it a nice night time treatment.

I don't like the scent of this one as much as the L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Cream, it smells like hay/oats to me... but it does feel lovely on.

My advice would be to skip this and go for the divine cream, if you find yourself faced with the choice between the two.

Price: 1/5 (rrp $98.00 for 50mL)
Scent: 1/5
Effectiveness: 4/5

L'Occitane En Provence - Divine Youth Oil

I am a huge fan of oils! Even though I have oily skin, my skin feels and looks better if I use oil nightly... perhaps your skin doesn't have to make so much oil of it's own if there is some already to added, like a negative feedback system? I don't know, I can't be arsed finding out right now...

This oil from L'Occitane (my favourite store, although I don't really have the money for it) smells like it's name suggests, divine!

It contains sunflower, evening primrose, apricot and orange oil and it sinks into the skin fairly quickly.

If I could afford to make this my permanent night oil, I would!

Price: 1/5 ($120 for 30mL)
Scent: 5/5
Effectiveness: 5/5

L'Occitane - Revitalizing Fresh Shampoo

This lovely, minty shampoo feels so fresh and cooling on the scalp! It contains peppermint, grapefruit, rosemary, thyme, lavender and sage oil; this shampoo lathers up into a wonderfully perfumed froth.

The only negative is the price (rrp $28.00 for 300mL) which is a bit more than I am happy paying.

Price: 1/5
Scent: 5/5
Effectiveness: 5/5
