Shiseido - The Skincare - Multi-Energizing Cream

I love the packaging! A sample in a glass jar, with a white iridescent lid. 

It has a faint floral scent.

It is almost a waxy balm, but it melts as soon as it hits your skin, making it easy to apply.
I wouldn't call it lightweight, it is a bit heavy but ok for night use.

I do feel that my skin feels good, but it could be because it is acting as a barrier (like Vaseline) rather than a moisturiser or because of its ingredients.

Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind - Eraser - Eye Concealer - Brightener 160

This is the same brand as a favourite concealer of Loey Lane (a sweet girl on Youtube who I have nothing but love for).

I was a little scared of this shade before I used it as it looks so red in the tube, but it is amazing on!

So red!

It is really brightening!
It has a puffy applicator that the concealer feeds through, which is nice and soft on the gentle skin of the eye.

The applicator prevents putting down too much product.
I love this!

Laqa & Co - Cheeky Lip - Lip and Cheek Colour - Humblebrag

This is a nice light pink lip and cheek colour that has both good coverage as a lipstick and smooth blending as a blush.

On nude lips.

The packaging is also great, you just wind it up and down. 
No sharpening required!

Kat Von D - Metal Crush - Eye Shadow - Iggy

This is the perfect shade of green!
Not too blue, or yellow, or light, or dark.
Just perfect!

Over the Chella highlighter pencil.

The packaging is also super sleek and doesn't pop open randomly in your bag.

When I apply it with a brush, it doesn't crease (which is a rarity for me) :D

I toyed with the idea of buying this for so long, I am so glad I did!
It makes me so happy! :D

The Body Shop - All-in-One Face Base - 03

This was the powder that I wore all through my German travels last year! 
I wear it for work now and it is still going!
I have hit pan, but there is still heaps left.

This compact has a mirror, sponge and separate area for the sponge.
The design is sleek and it won't open up in your bag.

It is great for setting concealer, muting red tones in the skin or taking shine off.
It isn't heavy coverage, you can still clearly see my freckles under it.

And it feels lightweight, you don't notice it when it is on.

Natural Glamour - 2Go - Winter - Auto Bronzing Brush

This is such a cool idea, the bronzer should come through the brush and out for application, no opening of containers required!

To get the powder out, you expand the brush fully, to stop the flow you shrink the brush.

And even though it is quite dark (for me) in the tube, it blends so well!

It is also SPF 12 (15 for newer formula).

Versace - Crystal Noir - Eau de Toilette

This is quite a unisex scent!
It is very heavy in green notes, with green florals, musk, incense, sap, some spice, and lavender.

This is a Autumn night in a well-cared for garden.
This is moths dancing around a street lamp as you move from one great party (for +25 year olds) to the next.
This is that spark of electricity in the air when the weather turns.

It is a strong scent as well.

Fragrantica lists the notes as

Top Notes: ginger, cardamon, pepper. (agree with all of these)
Middle Notes: orange blossom, peony, gardenia, coconut. (agree)
Base Notes: sandalwood, amber, musk. (agree, but it has smokiness)

The Body Shop - Vitamin C - Glow Boosting Moisturiser

This is an orange gel, with a orange scent.

Initially I was worried it was like those awful 'body sorbets', but this doesn't pill (thankfully).

It is a very hydrating gel and is light enough to wear on a hot summer's night.

Why not? How many guys actually bring you flowers? XP

This is a really nice, light moisturiser.

And I love the packaging! It's so clean! <3

I don't know if I would buy it again (my skin needs more oil), but it was nice.

Confidence - Fresh Wipes

Yes, this is a review of what is essentially baby wipes.
I picked these up at Aldi and used them to remove my makeup.

But what makes these notable is they come with a proper lid!!!

Now, the lid on my packet came off over time, but it is a step in the right direction.

The packaging claims that you can flush them down the toilet, but I personally advise against that.
Unfortunately, I used them all before I thought to test how they disintegrate in water.

An easy way to test if they break down sufficiently. A cloudy jar is your window to not needing to call a plumber.

They are lightly scented, non-irritating, and work well to remove makeup.

Clearasil - Superfruits Refreshing Toner

This is an alcohol-based toner that works really well at removing makeup.
Since it is alcohol-based, it stings quite badly when it gets in your eye.

So many causes of bloodshot eyes and this is the easiest to fix (also the lamest).

Also, you want to follow up this toner with a moisturiser, as it will dry your skin.

The scent (raspberry and cranberry) is SO lovely!
It is almost enough to make me purchase it again.

The packaging is great, it didn't leak at all.

Woodwick Candle - Sand & Driftwood

I LOVE this candle! 
The scent is divine, and I think 'Sand & Driftwood' is a fair assessment of it.

You know how it will appeal to me.

The container is super cute as well, grey glass and a wooden lid. 
It has an old school vibe which is very cool.

The wick is made of wood as well, and makes a continuous crackling noise that is so soothing.

This is the type of candle you WANT to get to Christmas!

NYX - Baked Eyeshadow - Supernova

I love gold eyeshadow, so this was a great thing to get in a Bellabox.

This has THE CUTEST packaging! A little clear topped box, lined with black, and a black bow!
It is also well made and wont break up in a makeup bag.

For a light colour, the colour intensity is really good. I love the shimmer in it!

There is also a lot of product in this, so you definitely get your money's worth.

I am so impressed with this product! This is a great choice for a go-to shade to be kept in your bag if you want to add to your look.

The Body Shop - Almond Nail & Cuticle Oil

So after a run in with onycholysis (possibly due to the Revitanail keratin strengthening serum, because I did not have onycholysis prior), I tried using the almond nail and cuticle oil from the Body Shop.

The packaging is terrific. It doesn't leak at all. The brush for applying the oil is soft and applies the oil evenly. The massager is firm enough if you wanted to use it to push back your cuticles (which I would NOT recommend).

It smells really nice and appears to absorb well.

So here are the before and after photos of one month of use (applied 1-2 daily):

Physicians Formula - Bronze Booster - Light to Medium

I didn't set out to buy this, I got it for free as part of a gift bag.
Normally I wouldn't even give a product like this another look, but this has really won my heart.

Being pale, I use this as a face contour. It does have some shimmer which I normally wouldn't look for in a contour, but I quite like it.
The bronzer is in the form of pearls, soft enough to be easily used, firm enough that they don't just break up into powder immediately.

What really knocks my socks off with this product is the packaging! WOW!

It is a solid, sturdy design with a cute window at the bottom to see the bronzer pearls. 
Once open, there is a decent mirror in the lid, a flat brush and a luxurious powder puff. 
This puff is also used to keep the pearls away from the mirror.

It smells like equal parts honey and acrylic paint, but it is a very faint scent.

The colour payoff isn't great, but I personally like that.

Lacura - Skin Science - Cuvée Royal - Serum Concentrate

This was a nice fun serum. It absorbed well, wasn't sticky, and had these cute gold beads that break up into fine gold sparkles only when they leave the container.

It contains grape extracts (hence the link to being like wine) and QT40 (which is said to be a 'skin activator'). It is meant to support collagen and elastin, prevent sagging, and improve contour.

It is aimed at the +35 demographic, but nobody tells me what to do!

It smells like white wine to me and it lasted about 2 months, each night I used about 3 pumps to cover my face (hur hur hur).

The Dionysus of face serums, wine and satire!

The container was a glass cylinder with silver-toned metal hardware. The rose gold toned, matte cap STAYED ON like a cap should!
As you used it, the internal base lifted up, so nary a drop was wasted.

Overall, I loved this!

Garnier - Micellar Cleansing Water

Micelles are spheres of fats that form when they are in water (or other hydrophilic substances).

Science!

Because they are non-ionic, the solution remains at a relatively neutral pH and is relatively non-irritating. And because there is both hydrophobic and hydrophilic components, it can remove both water-soluble and waterproof makeup.

Even if it drops straight into your eye, it won't hurt.

This was really nice to use, even for eye makeup. I can't really fault this product. Even the packaging is good. Cute, well designed, and leak-proof. What more could you want?

L'Occitane - Créme Perfectrice - A L'Extrait De Pivoine

Oh, why do you cost so much!? I love you so much!

I purchased this back when I was feeling down and didn't regret it at all!

First, the packaging is gorgeous. Pink and silver, the glass jar would look at home on a old Hollywood vanity.

The cream smells of peony, which is delightful. It is rich, absorbs quickly, and has the faintest pink tint (can you tell I love pink?)
It leaves skin feeling moisturised, dewy, and not suffocated. 

I love this so much! If I were rich I would use it every day.

Lacura - Skin Science - Cuvée Royal - Neck & Decollete Mousse

Yes, it is an Aldi product! 

First, it come in a sleek container, packaging which I not only cannot fault but also love!

Look at this sleekness!

Second, it smells pleasant and mild. The texture is a rich mousse and a little goes a long way.

Third, I love the idea of taking better care of your neck. It sees just as much of the elements as your face but is often forgotten.

Cetaphil - Suntivity Ultra-Light Fluid Face - SPF 30 - 30mL

This is such a nice purse-sized container and was easy to use on the go.
The thin formulation made application onto the face/neck/arms quick and easy.

No unpleasant sunscreen smell, doesn't leave you overly shiny and has UVA and UVB filters.

Over-all, this Bellabox find is a gem!

The only draw back is the price. :(
