Tea Blossoms - Blooming Tea Ball
I'm not sure which one this was, the packaging gives nothing away.
But I'm guessing it is black tea?
I cannot pick it on the website.
Before it was hydrated, it smelled like cheap white chocolate.
It took 2-3 minutes to 'bloom' fully.
The taste was mild and smooth, with the constant taste of cheap white chocolate.
It was an experience and not unpleasant, but I can't recommend a tea that has an odd taste and no ingredients listed on the website.
Thanks Miss Buttons!

Masquerade! - Klara - Reset Dragon's Blood Face Mask
This is a sheet mask with Dragon's blood extract.
I love Dragon's blood.
It is a really thin mask (which I like) that came with a backing sheet.
It smelled nice (like dragon's blood) and it was very hydrating and relaxing.
I would recommend this mask. :)
Thank you to Miss Buttons for this treatment!

Madame Flavour - Sultry Chai
I really like this brand (especially the mint lavender flavour).
Chai is not my usual pick because I don't put milk in my tea and I feel the flavours would benefit from it.
This one is a black tea (Ceylon and Assam) with cinnamon, cardamon, fennel, ginger, clove, safflower, and Australian Mountain Pepper leaf.
I opened the packet and ... the tea bag was broken.
It was a manufacturing error but I was able to work with it.
It smells lovely and spicy (as in pertaining to spice, not hot).
The taste? Very smooth and well blended.
It isn't jarring like some chai teas I have tried before.
If you are looking for a good chai, try this one!
Thanks Miss Buttons! :)
Price: 4.5/5 ($5.80 for 18 bags)

Tea Blossoms - Green Strawberry
This is a green tea with rose, sunflower, orange blossom, raspberry flavour, and strawberry flavour.
It is definitely a scent, not a taste with the strawberry part.
The tea itself is kind of bitter for a green tea.
Thanks for sending this to me Miss Buttons! :)
Price: 3/5 ($13.50 for 45 tea bags)

Invisibobble - Nano - 3 Styling Hair Rings
From the ol' Glossybox!
These are miniature versions of those weird plastic spiral hair ties that became popular a few years ago.
I tried these to do pigtails (Note: I have very thin hair, 0.03mm diameter).
They seemed a little too big for my hair bundle and I couldn't tighten them, perhaps if they were stretchier?
They also kept slipping out.
Perhaps they work for people with thicker hair?
They seem to be pitched as a styling tool for up-dos and braids.
I'll be straight with you, I don't style my hair.
Sometimes I comb it, that's it.
There is a reason why I keep it short.
These are not for me.
Price: 2/5 ($9.96 for 3)
Effectiveness: 0/5 (for me, they might be useful for others)

Art Break! - 'Die Mad About It' Embroidery
This is a fun little piece I made for Miss Buttons :D
For this I sketched it up in my art ideas book.
To start I drew up some guide lines for the lettering.
I made this template for what I want the text to look like (on PowerPoint, because I'm a computer wizard).
I started doing the letters really carefully, but I soon found I was avoiding doing it all together because I wanted it to be perfect.
No, let's start again. This time keeping it fun.
I put it in a bigger hoop (when my hoops finally arrived) and started the surrounding decorations.
I washed the pencil marks off and cut away excess fabric.
How I sew up the back.
I also used this teal felt to back it.
Done!
Verdict: She loved it!

Eau Thermale Avène - Eluage - Eye Contour Care
An under eye cream that claims to help with wrinkles, puffiness, and dark circles.
The colour is a pale beige and I had to double check it wasn't meant as a tinted moisturiser...It isn't a tinted moisturiser, it is not.
It is thin for an eye cream, what I would expect for a body lotion.
The smell is like a faint sunscreen.
It seems to work pretty well, I'm impressed.
Price: ** no longer sold **
Scent: 2/5

Art Break! - Facinator for Miss Buttons
I wanted to make a facinator for Miss Buttons.
I was thinking turquoise, fish, the sea, and Comrade (her pet cat).
I got some plastic cats and picked one out to be painted to look like Comrade.
And I painted him up to look like him:
I also got some plastic fish to paint.
I used some florist wire to stiffen some ribbons.
I also got some shells that I don't think I'll paint.
I will use some thin wire to make it look like the fish a swimming.
With the fish, I found they were too heavy :( so I made some little foam fish.
Let's begin the assembly!
I made a base out of foam and attached it to the headband.
I then added my wired ribbon, shaping it into a geometic/gemstone like shape.
I then covered this base with sand.
We add our little Comrade
And our shells.
I also made a little seaweed out of florist wire and stuck it on some foam.
I added sand to the base and wrapped the wire in string.
I attached it to the headpiece (as one would).
Then we add some extra ribbon, the white looks a bit like fishing net but more organic.
As I put it together, I decided I really didn't like the fish.
Everything else on this piece was realistic looking, the fish looked out of place.
I had to change them.
I needed to know that I made this as best as I could.
So lets try these little guys.
That's so much better!
Finally some blue glass beads.
To pack it, I put it in fish tissue paper :D
I also sprinkled some hearts and stars on top.
Verdict: This was tricky and took a while to complete, but it was well received! :D
