The Body Shop - Oils of Life - Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream

This is called 'Intensely Revitalizing' and I think that is quite fitting.
My skin was a little rough before using this and one week later it looks plumper and smoother.
I love this!

It contains black cumin oil, rosehip oil, and camellia oil, and has a herbal scent that is not overpowering.
It is a thick cream that absorbs quickly (~5 minutes) but it does leave a residue, which acts as a barrier overnight.

It is a bit expensive but if you are looking for a cruelty-free night cream that works, give it a try!

The Body Shop - Elderflower Unperfumed Eye Gel

I actually used this as an all over face cream when I went to hospital and it worked really well.
Even though it has alcohol in it, it didn't bother my skin.
I like that it has witch hazel and is lightweight (particularly nice as my room was quite warm).
When put under my eye, it did make that area look happier.

The Body Shop - Vitamin E - Night Cream

It smells like a less sweet version of a pink Pascall marshmallow.

It is nice and thick, doesn't upset my skin, and leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturised.

The Body Shop - Crayon Kohl - Eye Definer - Black

This black eye liner really disappointed me! :C

As is, it barely transfers at all:

It works when you pass it over a flame:

But I shouldn't have to heat it up like a drug fiend.

Really disappointed in you, Body Shop! You are usually amazing.

The Body Shop - Eyeshadow Brush

Given the bristle density, this is a good brush for cream eyeshadows or when you want to pack colour on.

It is pretty easy to clean and no bristles have fallen out of it.

I'd love to know more about what the handle is made from.
Is it recycled plastic? If not, the price is not worth it.

This cleans well, lathers nicely, and is non-irritating.
The scent is nice; green tea, pepper, and aloe vera.
However, the scent doesn't linger on the skin.

It also tastes awful.

This is a lovely incense and red floral scent!

Fragrantica lists the notes as poppy (duh), floral notes (kind of a given), woody notes (incense), and spices (yeah).

The Body Shop - Strawberry Soap

This is a decent soap bar, that unfortunately doesn't have much of a scent.

It lathers ok and cleans well.

If you want a decent scent, get the shower gel.

The Body Shop - White Musk - Smoky Rose - Eau de Toilette

This smells like musk, rose and a hint on incense.

It is a really nice floral smell without being overbearingly floral (a concept I don't personally understand).

Top Notes: bergamot (nope), pink pepper (maybe), black currant (nope)
Middle Notes: tobacco blossom (no idea), black rose (yes), immortelle (yes), orange blossom (nope)
Base Notes: olibanum (frankincense, yes), white musk (yes)

The Body Shop - Nail Polish - Nail Sequins - Silver

This was part of the 2016 holiday collection.

It is a clear polish with black and silver medium sized hexagons, and white specks.

One coat.

I personally wish there wasn't any black hexagons, to make it lighter toned.

The Body Shop - All-in-One Face Base - 03

This was the powder that I wore all through my German travels last year! 
I wear it for work now and it is still going!
I have hit pan, but there is still heaps left.

This compact has a mirror, sponge and separate area for the sponge.
The design is sleek and it won't open up in your bag.

It is great for setting concealer, muting red tones in the skin or taking shine off.
It isn't heavy coverage, you can still clearly see my freckles under it.

And it feels lightweight, you don't notice it when it is on.

The Body Shop - Shimmer Lotion - Frosted Cranberry

They are NOT KIDDING when the call this a 'shimmer lotion'!
It is from the 2015 holiday collection.

I put it on and was shimmering worse than a lame vampire.

The smell is really nice, a sweet cranberry.
It absorbs well and leaves the skin feeling soft.

This smells so fresh and delicious.
A perfect mix of pineapple and coconut!

This smells AMAZING!

Like fresh, tart passion fruit pulp.

The only thing that confuses me slightly is the colour, the body butter is coloured light purple... I would make it yellow personally, but ok.

The Body Shop - Hair Brush Mini Bamboo

This is my go-to travel brush!

And when I'm not out having adventures, I keep this near my desk so I can brush my hair as I feel.

It is made of natural bamboo, with a rubber pad (which is cushioning) and plastic pins.
It is very easy to clean after use,

It isn't too heavy, but has a good weight.

The Body Shop - Vitamin C - Glow Boosting Moisturiser

This is an orange gel, with a orange scent.

Initially I was worried it was like those awful 'body sorbets', but this doesn't pill (thankfully).

It is a very hydrating gel and is light enough to wear on a hot summer's night.

Why not? How many guys actually bring you flowers? XP

This is a really nice, light moisturiser.

And I love the packaging! It's so clean! <3

I don't know if I would buy it again (my skin needs more oil), but it was nice.

The Body Shop - Peppermint - Reviving Leg Gel

Like the other items in the peppermint range, this has a 'candy sweet' peppermint scent, which is delightful!

It is cooling and surprisingly more viscous than you would predict for a gel.

It leaves a bit of a residue on the skin which can be a bit sticky.

While it smells great, skip this and get the lotion instead.

The Body Shop - Smoky Poppy - Poppy Seed Scrub

I wanted to love this. I love the smoky poppy line.

But this was so disappointing.

The scent is more oily than smoky poppy (which is the finishing scent).
The poppy seeds are too big and round to scrub, and get stuck in the puff/mitt/sponge that you may be using with it.

It is SO oily and you need to wash at least twice afterward to get the greasy feeling off your skin.

This was just an all round ineffective product.

The Body Shop - Drench Sponge - Large

I love this!
It lathers up body wash so nicely, is gentle on your skin and looks so nice.

It is also made of synthetic material as to not harm natural sea sponges, but feels the same.
(I have never used a natural sea sponge and never will)

So you can love the ocean (as a place) and love the ocean (by protecting it)!

You do have to keep it wet or it dried out, but it easily softens again when re-hydrated.

I have to throw mine out, because I have loved it too much... but I'd love to get another (future me can buy me one).
