Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind - Eraser - Eye Concealer - Brightener 160

This is the same brand as a favourite concealer of Loey Lane (a sweet girl on Youtube who I have nothing but love for).

I was a little scared of this shade before I used it as it looks so red in the tube, but it is amazing on!

So red!

It is really brightening!
It has a puffy applicator that the concealer feeds through, which is nice and soft on the gentle skin of the eye.

The applicator prevents putting down too much product.
I love this!

The Body Shop - Drench Sponge - Large

I love this!
It lathers up body wash so nicely, is gentle on your skin and looks so nice.

It is also made of synthetic material as to not harm natural sea sponges, but feels the same.
(I have never used a natural sea sponge and never will)

So you can love the ocean (as a place) and love the ocean (by protecting it)!

You do have to keep it wet or it dried out, but it easily softens again when re-hydrated.

I have to throw mine out, because I have loved it too much... but I'd love to get another (future me can buy me one).

Garnier - Micellar Cleansing Water

Micelles are spheres of fats that form when they are in water (or other hydrophilic substances).

Science!

Because they are non-ionic, the solution remains at a relatively neutral pH and is relatively non-irritating. And because there is both hydrophobic and hydrophilic components, it can remove both water-soluble and waterproof makeup.

Even if it drops straight into your eye, it won't hurt.

This was really nice to use, even for eye makeup. I can't really fault this product. Even the packaging is good. Cute, well designed, and leak-proof. What more could you want?

Yadah Cosmetic - Anti Trouble Bubble Cleanser

I got this through Memebox (which I want to love, but virtually everything they sell is unable to be sold in Australia).

It was gentle, smelled like lemon aspirin (think Alka-Seltzer) and came out of the bottle in a foam.
I am moving away from strong cleansers and exfoliators for le face, so this fitted in nicely with my new philosophy.

As for acne, I did notice a reduction of pimples, but not a complete stop.

The Body Shop - Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash

This gentle gel facial wash is recommended for combination/oily skin and is pretty damn good... actually may be my favourite face soap.
It smells like ocean mint (that is a thing now) and contains menthol (which you can taste when you inevitably get some in your mouth).
Good lather, takes off make up and natural face gunk, won't upset sensitive skin, doesn't burn too bad when it gets in your eye (hur hur hur) ... what more could you want?
