Primal State - Primal Sun - Vitamin D

These are drops that you can take for vitamin D.

The vitamin D3 is dissolved into medium chained triglycerides from coconut oil.

It has a minimal oil taste and is easy to split up a dose over the day to make it easier on your body.

Because it is a liquid it is less portable and the dropper on my bottle has detached from the cap, but the liquid itself is good.

However because of the packaging issues and price, I can't recommend this.

Price: 1.5/5 ($40.74 for 50mL)
Scent: 2.5/5 (no scent)
Effectiveness: 4/5

Chella - Highlighter Pencil - Ivory Lace

I got this from Bellabox ages ago and it annoyed me.
This is not a highlighter on me.
This is pretty close to the shade I am anyway.
My own skin colour does not a highlight make.

The colour it is vs. the colour I need in a highlight.

And DON'T call it 'Ivory'! This is NOT ivory.

As far as formulation, it is pretty creamy,
It really seems it would do better in a plastic wind up container rather than a pencil, given how much you use then need to sharpen it.
And the cap doesn't stay on.

I might use this as an eye shadow base. Might.

Price: 2/5 ($24.95 for not-$24-worth of highlight)
Scent: 2.5/5 (pencil smell)
Effectiveness: 1/5

Models Prefer - Nude Cream Eye Shadow - Glisten

A bronze coloured cream eye shadow stick that applies easily and doesn't need a base.

It is however in a barrel too big for the stick, so that is a one way ticket to breakage street!

Price: **No longer sold**
Scent: 2.5/5 (no real scent)
Effectiveness: 4/5

Sleek MakeUP - Power Plump - Lip Crayon - Berry Burst

A lip colour from the April Glossybox!

This is a really nice medium brown-pink colour!
It's not too warm or too dark for me.

It also applies really smoothly and is pretty opaque, you can wear it without a lip liner.

Unfortunately it is in a plastic pencil, which is going to be a pain to sharpen to get more product.

Also, bigger issue, the 'plumping' aspect literally makes it feel like it is burning!
You can put a sticky lip gloss underneath as a barrier, but it sucks hard.

The first time I used it I thought I was possibly giving me a chemical burn.

I have used lip plumping lip colours and glosses before and none have hurt like this one!

Why is this nice shade ruined by this awful burning sensation?!

And it is basically because of the irritating components that I can't recommend this.

Price: 3/5 ($11.20 AUD for 3.6g)
Scent: 1/5 (a faint mix of metal and marshmallow... metal is not a pleasant smell)
Effectiveness: 1/5

Palmolive - Oil Infusions - Body Moisturiser - Citrus with Jojoba Oil

I love the brown coloured bottle of this, it suites the label design so well!
It's such a shame the pump doesn't allow full use of the product in the bottle.

I was disappointed that it smelled more of jojoba oil than citrus.

It absorbs well, is of a 'cream' thickness, and is great at moisturising the skin.

I would recommend trying it.

Price: 5/5 ($9.99 for 400mL)
Scent: 3/5
Effectiveness: 4/5

Masquerade! - Sephora - Rose Mask

This mask is meant to be ultra moisturising and brightening, I don't know about either of these claims.
But the scent, it was too sweet/sugary.
Like it was Turkish delight or too ripe roses.
This was disappointing because I usually like rose.

There was a good amount of serum, but why are these mask packets so difficult to tear open?
Just put a pre-made tear line on both sides!

Again, this mask was too big on the sides.

Klara - Kiss Proof Lips

This claims to be a 24 hr matte lipstick... and is as close to being that as anything else I have tried!

This stuff is actually kiss-proof! I don't usually kiss and tell, but I will just say the lip colour stayed on me and didn't get on him.

I have the shade 04 - neon pink, and the colour intensity is great.

It is a bit staining though, but I didn't mind that.

It has no real scent. I will say it is a true matte. Many 'mattes' are actually 'satins'... this however is a true matte, it has zero shine and is quite drying.

The only negative is that it dried out in the tube too quickly. I could only use half of the container before it became paste.
Also, the container isn't great. I can both pull it apart too easily and it is too hard to use all the product when not pulled apart.

And I ain't strong.

Also, it is a bit pricey when there are other matte lip colours out there (I got it on sale, but the full price is too much).

Price: 2/5 (RRP $29 for a tube that you can only really use half of)
Scent: 2.5/5
Effectiveness: 3/5
