Technic - Eyeshadows - Nudes

I wanted a nude eyeshadow palette because I didn't have one.

I was initally thinking of Colorpop, but a lot of their nude palettes had red shades in them, I don't wear red eyeshadow shades.

This palette has six shades, which I will invent names for because they don't have any given to them.

Top to bottom:
Witching Hour
Coffee with Friends
Delta
Spring Carnation
Golden Hour
Champagne Toast

They feel quite buttery (surprisingly so) but the colour payoff is medium.

With the light hitting it to show the reflection.

The lighter three are shimmers and the darker three are a satin finish with a bit of glitter, but the glitter is not overpowering.

Price: 5/5 ($4.02 for 6 x 1.2g)
Scent: 2.5/5 (no real scent)
Effectiveness: 5/5

Art Break - Cat Coffins

I know, this probably seems morbid.
But think about it logically. I want my dear cats (when they leave this mortal coil) to be buried appropriately.
I want them to be treated with love, care, and respect.
I want them to have coffins, not just put in the ground.
And you can't just buy a coffin for your pet easily.

For this project I used two cardboard boxes, one for each cat, and at a suitable size.
(the sizing was made easy because the cats like getting into boxes)

For Schnicks, I wanted the outside to be a blue/teal colour. I thought that was the best colour for her.
I also put some glitter on the outside, because she has always shone brightly.

I painted the inside red and lined it with red velvet to resemble once of her favourite places to nap (SU3s bed).

For Babycat, I was going with a bedtime theme.
I painted the entire box glossy white, for he is the most innocent of all the life on earth.

I lined this with white satin.

I made a pillow for him out of a material bag I already had.

Then all he needed was a blanket,

and a teddy!

The teddy had a zip opening, so I put some of my hair in it (so Babycat would never feel alone).

And done!

Burt's Bees - Lipstick - 501 Blush Basin

This product immediately intrigued me when it was released.
I always wanted to try something from Burt's Bees but don't really like lip balms.

The colour intensity is moderate (not full coverage, but close enough), the formula goes on smoothly, lasts at least 4 hours, and is moisturising.
It has a satin finish and faint floral scent.

I'll rename this shade 'Nakie'

It can do that weird thing that beeswax can do when it experiences temperature changes and forms hard beads of wax. The emulsion in it can be broken and I'm not sure how to reverse it without taking the lipstick out of the container.

Swatch and fitbit!

The packaging does feel a little flimsy, but it doesn't break and any ascetic issue can be forgiven since the packaging is recyclable.
Although I must say I LOVE the hexagons on the cap <3 The little beehive motif is adorable.

This isn't the best formula I have used, but is a nice option if you want a more environmentally friendly option.

Price:  2/5 ($19.95 for 3.4g)
Scent: 3/5 (faint floral scent)
Effectiveness: 4/5

Revlon - Ultra HD - Matte Lipcolour - Love

This is my go-to colour to wear at work.
(It may seem a bit bold for work, but trust me, it really works)

This is a true fire-engine red, not too blue or orange.
It isn't what I would call a true matte as it keeps some shine.
I'd call it a satin.

Science Fiction, Double Feature!

It has a really good colour intensity, lasts at least 6 hours (with eating), isn't drying, and does stain a little.
(Which I like, I always want to hide my blue lips. I don't have anaemia, my lips are just often blue)

A swatch!

Just know that the container is a bit frosted, so the shade that goes on your lips doesn't look like it does from the bottle.

It also has a faint vanilla cake smell, which is nice!

Price: 3/5 ($23.95 for 5.9mL)
