Isana - 200 Wattestäbchen (200 Cotton Swabs)

I got these to clean up parts of nail polish and apply masks as spot treatments.

They are sturdy, don't fall apart, and I like the plastic box they come in (the lid fits on nicely for storage).

Price: 5/5 ($0.45 for 200)
Scent: 2.5/5 (no scent)
Effectiveness: 5/5

Rausch - Hair Spray - Strong

This is a sample from Glossybox (thanks Miss Buttons and PB)!

When I got this I wasn't that happy about it because I really don't do my hair.
But I'll do my best to review it.

It apparently has sea buckthorn, which appeals to me as a lover of all things ocean.
It also has no silicon, if that is important to you.

The scent is you classic hairspray scent (try not to inhale it).

I put some on my hair for work to see if it could keep hair out of my face.

Before:

With hair everywhere already, but held in place by hairspray!

After a few hours of work:

All held in place!

Overall, it appears to work quite well!

Price: 3/5 ($13.45 for 250mL)
Scent: 2.5/5 (hairspray smell, don't sniff)
Effectiveness: 5/5

Essie- Good To Go - Top Coat

I forgot I had this!

It doesn't have a ball bearing in the bottle!
You need it for mixing!
Poor form, Essie!

But aside from that, it is a strong and super glossy top coat!

Price: 1/5 ($17.95 for 13.3mL)
Effectiveness: 5/5

Paco Rabanne Lady Million Eau De Parfum

This is like getting punched in the face with a bouquet, and not in a great way.
I'm glad I only have a tiny sample!

I can't tell any notes, just generic (some white) flowers.
And it is strong.

The container is really cute, it's a shame that the perfume doesn't match.
I mean, I like it, but it isn't the greatest.

Fragrantica lists the notes as

Top Notes: Neroli (nope), Amalfi lemon (nope), Raspberry (nope).
Middle Notes: Jasmine (nope), African Orange flower (nope), Gardenia (yes).
Base Notes: Patchouli (yes!), White honey (yes), Amber (nope).

Patchouli!!! That must be why I like it still!

Price: 1/5 ($129.00 for 80mL)
Scent: 3/5
Season: Autumn
Time: Nighttime
Strength: Strong
Lifetime: Full day

Endone

Nerve pain (at least in the case of my arm and shoulder) is like pressing on a tack and having that signal of pain travelling up your limb, over and over again. It cannot be ignored. No paracetamol or ibuprofen can reduce it. It works through a mostly unavoidable messenger pathway that is responsible for your motion and senses.

The only thing that helped when the pain was at its worst was oxycodone (Endone).
It is a strong pain killer and came with it's own draw-backs.
It made me tired and sleep a lot.
It made me less useful, less active, and dulled my ambition.
It has been linked with addiction (not something I personally experienced  after a month of use and not something I want to experience).
It gave me dull headaches in the frontal lobe (with constant use) which stopped me from ever getting the taste for it.

But all these negatives were fine, if only the pain stopped.

I have other management systems now and will see the neurologist soon, but this was an angel in a time of need.

Price: Controlled medicine ($16.92 for 20 tablets)
Effectiveness: 5/5
Warnings: Addictive (you don't want to get addicted to opiates! I have seen someone weaning off them, it isn't nice), looses effectiveness over time.

Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser

I got this as a sample with purchase from Chemist Warehouse (love them) and I am glad it was just a sample and I didn't buy it, because it tore my face TO SHREDS! Let me say that if you have normal skin, this would probably be a good, thouogh cleanser.... But if you have delicate, sensitive skin like me, you are in for a world of hurt! After one use, my face was red and sore for hours and the skin gods shunned all my peace offerings of moisturiser.
I get that people have this idea that oil in one's face is bad, but my face needs some, not all of it has to go :(
So if you have delicate skin, STAY AWAY!!!

On another note, just want to say I love the Biore pore strips. They work brilliantly!

Price: 5/5
Effectiveness: 5/5 (but in a bad way...killed me, may not kill others)
Odour: 3/5 (not strong, good)
