Elizabeth Arden - Good Night's Sleep - Restoring Cream

This is pale lilac, thin cream (but still thicker than a lotion) that has a very faint herbal and lavender smell.

At first I wasn't sure it was doing much, the first few mornings after use my skin didn't look much different.
However after a week, I have to say, I am impressed.

My skin looks more even, smoother.

If money in no object for you, this may be a skin cream for you.

Price: 1/5 ($78 for 50mL, however I got it on sale)
Scent: 3/5 (not much scent)
Effectiveness: 5/5

Rexona - Clinical Protection - Antiperspirant Deodorant - Summer Strength

The formula works well, there is no breakthrough sweating.
The scent is ok, something about it reminds me of my Nana's bathroom (actually, I might keep the empty container and smell it occasionally, it really does bring back memories).
It is the ending notes that smell like her bathroom.

It is a 'high strength' antiperspirant, but basically any antiperspirant is if you apply it before bed when you are less likely to just sweat it off before it can work on your sweat glands.

The dispenser has big and little holes, though which the product is forced out.
I wish it was just little holes, the big holes just get lint in them and end up a bit gross.

Some of the product ended up squished in the tube instead of where I could use it.
This displeases me.

It works as an antiperspirant, but it is not worth the price.

Price: 1/5 ($14.95 for 45g)
Scent: 4/5
Effectiveness: 4.5/5

Mitchum - Women Clinical - Oxygen Odor Control - Pure Fresh

I'll let you in on a little secret, if you want your antiperspirant to work at its best, put it on at night (after your shower, just before bed). It gives the active ingredients time to soak into the skin and deactivate the sweat glands. You don't need fancy 'clinical' protection antiperspirant.

That being said, I will now review this product like it was any other antiperspirant (which it is).

The many small holes which allow the product through are well dispersed over the top and allow an even spread of product. The packaging winds up easily and the design of the packet is sleek and visually pleasing. (feeling the metallic green-pale green and white, very tennis) The scent is fresh and clean (and non-offensive).

As far as reducing sweat (and thus odour), it works well and I had minimal/no break through sweating.

Price: 2/5 ($12.95 for 45g)
Scent: 3.5/5
Effectiveness: 4.5/5

The Body Shop - Oils of Life

I picked this up as soon as I heard about it... I am all about oils!

It contains black cumin seed oil, camellia seed oil and rosehip seed oil and absorbs into the skin SO FAST!

I can see a visual improvement in my skin the morning after using it.

It also smells really nice and the dropper bottle makes application really easy.

Price: 1.5/5 ($54.95 for 30mL)
Scent: 4.5/5
Efficiency: 5/5

The Body Shop - Seaweed Pore Perfector

I put this on, under my moisturiser each morning and I did notice a small difference.

Did it close my cavernous face holes (which aren't my nostrils or mouth)? - No
Did it make my pores look smaller, less noticeable and resulted in less pimples? - Yes

The only reason I haven't repurchased this yet is I have a butt-tonne of other products to try and use first.

It even smells nice - marine, salty and oceanic ... I am all about that life!
Word of the Day: Oceanid
It come in a cute pump bottle, so it is easy to get the right amount each time and you don't waste product.

Love love, love this!

Price: 2/5 (rrp $24.95 for 15mL)
Scent: 5/5
Effectiveness: 4/5

The Body Shop - Body Butter - Wild Argan Oil
This rich body butter sinks in nicely and won't upset sensitive skin. The scent (this one being argan oil) is transferred well, but isn't overpowering.

I don't really know what else to say, I just really like this body butter.

I guess just be warned that some of these can be quite thick, it varies by what scent you get.
eg- thick butters: argan, poppy
      thinner butters: satsuma

Price: 3/5 (rrp $23.95 for 200mL)
Scent: 4/5 (Argan oil is a dividing scent)
Effectiveness: 5/5

Oral B - 3D White Luxe - Glamorous White Mouthwash

I haven't really had a favourite mouthwash until I tried this one. The lack of alcohol means it doesn't burn and the taste isn't terrible.

Normally I avoid mint flavoured mouth care, given my allergy to toothpaste (I know, my body is a genius!), but this doesn't trigger the reaction.

As far as whitening goes, I do notice a difference in tooth shade after using this... not super dramatic, but enough to notice, so I'll say it works!

In keeping with my new "offering solutions", if you want a more dramatic whitening effect, try this!
Remember to let it dry before you close your mouth! (disclaimer: don't eat paint, don't really do this, I ain't taking you to the hospital)

Price: 3.5/5 (rrp $8.49 for 473 mL, which is ~31.5 uses)
Scent: 5/5 (minty fresh!)
Effectiveness: 4.5/5
