To me, this is a very green, fresh scent with florals and a hint of citrus.

Fragrantica lists the notes as

Base notes: musk (maybe), mahogany (no), amber (maybe)

Overall, it is very nice!

This is a matte, light pink lip crayon.

Over the BJLL6 lip liner.

It shouldn't be called a balm, it makes it sound like it won't be opaque (it is),
It is soft, smells like mint and isn't dying.

This is a soft, glossy, light brown lip liner that has more shine than usual.

It's pinker and lighter than I thought.
And perhaps too soft... the tip broke off.

Napoleon Perdis - Dévine Goddess Lipstick - Andromeda

This lipstick is broken :(

Over the Napoleon Perdis Nude awakening lip liner.

And from touching it, I know why... it is too soft.
It's a nice colour, but just too soft.

I have a plan though, to save this broken lipstick! (especially since Miss Buttons thinks it looks good on me)

This is a purple eyeliner with a smudging brush on the tail end.

The colour payoff is almost zero! Useless!

Yves Saint Laurent - Baby Doll - Eau de toilette

To me, I get yellow florals and stone fruit, especially apricots.
The bottle is super cute!

Fraganitca lists the notes as

Top Notes: orange (nope), pineapple (nope), black currant (nope), apple (nope)
Middle Notes: freesia (possible), heliotrope (maybe), lily-of-the-valley (yes), rose (nope).
Base Notes: sandalwood (nope), tonka bean (maybe), vanilla (nope), cedar (nope).

I could see this being a nice first perfume for a child/teen.

Art Break - Fascinator for B

B really wants a fascinator, so I offered to make her one.

Her favourite colour is purple, so that will be our starting point.
Instead of the basic 'feathers and flowers' form, I wanted to take it a step further and make it a 'Nature' themed facinator!

I got fake flowers, a headband, a foam bird, and feathers from the shops today.

And I ordered some fake berries online.

Our bird isn't purple to begin with, but we can change that with some gently applied acrylic paint.

At the start.

Add some lilac paint.

And some violet!

To make some ribbon shapes, I was trying to set it with watered down glue.

But I didn't like the results.

So I glued some florist wire to some fresh ribbon.

I also glued a ring of ribbon to the headband, to make a base for our decorations.

With our florist wire attached, I shaped the ribbon and glued it.

I wanted a dramatic heart shape.

I then attached it to the head band.

I started working on a nest made of feathers.

It will make sense soon!

I then attached the bird and nest to the headband. You can start to see it come together now.

I got some styrofoam eggs.

Painted them light purple.

Then added some dark purple spots.

I then glued them into the nest.

I added flowers and berries around the nest.

I'm really happy with how it turned out!
