Same Product, Different Scent - Palmolive - Oil Infusions - Body Moisturiser - Rose with Macadamia Oil

This smells SO lovely!
It is kind of a 'grandma' rose smell, but I'm all about that. This is my favourite so far!

Premium Spa Australia - Body Butter - Coconut & Vanilla

I got this over a year ago to keep at my desk.
I have to say I really don't like the scent, it is very strong on the macadamia and coconut notes.
It is very heavy and oily, but surprisingly doesn't feel very moisturising or rich when it is on the skin.

Also, the container has a false bottom!!!! There is not as much as in the container as you think D:

Even though it is a good price, it isn't that effective and hence not really worth buying.

Price: 5/5 ($9.99 for 190g)
Scent: 0/5
Effectiveness: 1/5

Thursday Plantation - Tea Tree Hand & Body Lotion

Like Toula's father in 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' who thinks Windex is a panacea, my alleged father thinks tea tree oil cures all.

I usually just tell him that he expects too much of a simple oil and leave it at that.

Then recently I got a little bit of a dry patch on my leg and figured why not use this for a test?

The Thursday Plantation hand and body lotion smells strongly of tea tree oil, but also contains a number of other botanical extracts as well, including witch hazel, macadamia and honeysuckle.
It is a good viscosity for a lotion as well.

I put it on my dry skin for three days and... It tore my skin to shreads! :(
It became red, itchy, weeping and sore.

I think the problem may be that this contains too much of the oil... and that the oil is NOT the magical cure-all you think it is, father!

A better treatment for dry skin/burns/eczema:

Soooo much better!

Price: 3.5/5 (RRP $13.30 for 200mL)
Scent: 1/5 (I think it is stinky)
Effectiveness: 0/5

Macadamia Natural Oil - Luxurious Oil Treatment

I am usually not a fan of hair oils and conditioners, they can be too heavy for my super fine hair.
This oil treatment was ok, but hasn't really converted me.
I put it in after washing my hair and it did leave my hair a bit shinier, but it was still heavy.

The treatment does smell wonderful though.

Price: 2/5 ($15.96 for 30mL)
Scent: 4.5/5
Effectiveness: 2.5/5

Same Product, Different Scent: Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Therapy - Gardeners
***This is a new segment I am starting. It's when it is the same product as one previously reviewed, but the scent is different.***

It smells like warm, winter spices to me. Cinnamon*, nutmeg* and myrrh join macadamia oil and shea butter in this delightful hand cream.
*I decided these are in there :p

Image a pumpkin pie if you will, this smells of the spices you put in one.... so good!

It reminds me of this so much, in fact, that I think I need to send some to my friend Pumpking! (testing if you still check this)
Others need to know how good this smells!

Scent: 5/5 (duh)
