Art Break! - Embroidered Gift for PB

I wanted to make something really special for PB. He didn't know I started working on this, I wanted it to be a surprise!

I actually sketched my idea out this time.

I did a gold sun with the lines horazontal (like how the sun moves over the horizon) and a silver moon with the lines vertical (like how it moves through the phases).
I also put gold stars above the sun.

Mmm, blurry!

I then added a golden yellow, a peachy orange, and blues to the rooster. Like the sun in the bright blue sky.

For the hen I went with a night-time motif with pinks, purples, and blues. I also added some light pink clouds.

I really can't escape my colour-block style, can I? XD

To present it I put it in a wooden frame.

I held it in with these double sided foam tape rectangles.

Finally I finished it off with this great lace tape.

Done!

Verdict: He loved it!

Easter Basket for PB

I hid a little Easter basket for PB in the house for Easter this year.
I had to put it somewhere the kittens couldn't reach, Lil has a thing for chocolate and chocolate is not good for cats.

It has a hollow chocolate chicken and some filled chocolate eggs.
I also added some little fluffy chickens.
The basket is a little woven basket I saved from... some apples? I can't quite remember what it had in it initially. 
I added some tissue paper in the bottom to look like straw.

Time it took PB to find it: 42.10 seconds (but it could only be within the living room)
