Art Break! - XXX Card

I didn't think I would post about this so I don't have photos of it's creation process, but PB said I should share it.

This is a rope bondage greeting card!

The figure was sketched out on white card, then the lines gone over with black ink.
I positioned them so they looked a little like a heart.

I cut them out and wrapped them in embroidery floss.
I also glued embroidery floss to the card as a suspension string.

Finally I glued the figure to the card.

Verdict: The recipient loved it!

Update

From this post onward, posts will be appearing on the days of the month divisible by 5 (on my end).

So on the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, and 30th of each month.

Still new content, just less frequent.

Catrice - ICONails - Gel Lacquer - 18 Beetlejuice

In the bottle this looks like a grey-purple with a green shift.

On the nail underside with bonus cat hair!

It is so pretty!!!! 

It does need two coats for opacity.

Milton Mini Sterilising Tablets - 50 Pack

You can probably guess what these are for.

For a menstrual cup, you can clean a number of ways, I decided to go with these strerilising tablets.

To use these you just pop them in water (in the container you are going to clean your stuff in).

They fizz and dissolve really fast and smell like chlorine as they do this, so don't sniff them!

Price: 5/5 ($8.18 for 50)

Scent: 1/5 (don't sniff it!)

Effectiveness: 5/5

Monicup Menstrual Cup

This is a silicon menstrual cup and I'm going to try it out for the first time!

The seller described it as 'purple' but it is definitely pink, which I approve of.

The cup has little marks on the side so you can see the volume of menstruate collected.

It also came with a satin bag to keep it in in between uses, which I appreciate.

I have both the large and small size because I wasn't sure which one would work best for me.
I tried the large and it just wouldn't unfold inside of me.
The small one works for me.

On the first day:
I like the E fold, preferring it to the C fold.
I do have trouble getting the cup in far enough though. 
It's like I have a little silicon doodle (the tail sticks out about half way). XD
So far I have not leaked :D

On the second day:
It didn't open when I put it in, so it didn't work, but I was wearing a pad so it wasn't a big deal.
I re-inserted it and it opened properly.
I didn't feel comfortable sleeping with it the first night, but tried the second night.
Second night, it was fine to sleep with.

On the third day:
I just couldn't get it to unfold properly.
I tried multiple times throughout the day :(
It worked well overnight though.

On the fourth day:
I had to take it out midday because of sexy, sexy cramps.

Overall it is a nice idea, but not reliable enough for me to use just the cup.
But it will help me reduce the amount of pads I use, so that is something.

*I have since tried it a few more cycles and same thing. When it works, it is great. But it is unreliable and doesn't always open properly. So I have to pair it with a pad.
It's good as an extra layer of protection, but I can't use it alone.
I think I need a different brand and design.

Nail Design - Underside Nail Polish

This is a simple one.

I painted the top and underside of my nails with a clear base coat.
Then I painted the underside first with red nail polish.

Finally I painted the top of the nail with black nailpolish.

I really like this look and knowing that the underside of my nail is protected as well.

I used Catrice nail polish in 'It's All About That Red' and 'Black To The Routes'.

Easter Basket for PB

I hid a little Easter basket for PB in the house for Easter this year.
I had to put it somewhere the kittens couldn't reach, Lil has a thing for chocolate and chocolate is not good for cats.

It has a hollow chocolate chicken and some filled chocolate eggs.
I also added some little fluffy chickens.
The basket is a little woven basket I saved from... some apples? I can't quite remember what it had in it initially. 
I added some tissue paper in the bottom to look like straw.

Time it took PB to find it: 42.10 seconds (but it could only be within the living room)
