Nutra Rise - Prenatal Multivitamin

I didn't use these as a prenatal, but as a daily supplement to aid hair and nail growth.
(Prenatal supplements are great for that.)

These have vitamins A, C, D3, E, B12, B1, and B6. They also have niacin, folic acid, calcium, iron, and zinc.

They are medium sized beige tablets

I was very disappointed with them because a lot of the tablets were broken.
Like sand through the hour glass, so is the state of these tablets.

If you were using this as a prenatal, it would be maddening, wondering if you took to little or too much.
As such, I can't recommend this brand.

It did help my hair and nails, but not as well as the Thompson's hair, skin, and nails did.

Price: 3/5 ($23.06 for 60 tablets)
Scent: 2.5/5 (very faint, mineral and acidic vitamin smell)
Effectiveness: 1/5

Regulator-Köhler

This is a nutritional supplement containing the basic (as in alkaline) minerals of calcium, potassium, magnesium, and zinc.

They are sodium free, which is good if you can't have too much sodium.

They are for 'A balanced acid-base balance and a functioning energy metabolism are important prerequisites for physical and mental well-being. ' according to the bottle.

The capsules are medium-sized with a matte finish (which I'm guessing is a coating to get it past the stomach acid).

It says take 2-3 a day, I took one a day because I do what I want.

Price: 2/5 ($31.34 for 100 capsules)

Altapharma - Brausetabletten (Effervescent Tablets) - Magnesium + Calcium + D3

These tablets are a rhubarb and lime flavour.
They contain magnesium, calcium, and vitamin D3.
They are also lactose and gluten free.

It had a rosé beige colour, smells mildly of lime, and tastes mildly like rhubarb and lime.
I would have liked more of a lime flavour, but you know how I feel about citrus.

This is a fun, cheap source of calcium, magnesium, and vitamin D3. Price: 5/5 ($3.12 for 20 tablets)
Taste: 4.5/5

Sally Hansen - Complete Care 7-in-1 Nail Treatment

Let's go through the '7 benefits'!
1. Base Coat (ok)
2. Top Coat (ok)
3. Growth (has calcium, so possible)
4. Strengthener (as a re-enforcement)
5. Ridge-Filler (all polish does this)
6. Brightener (no)

7. Ultra-Moisturising (It has avocado oil but no nail polish is 'ultra-moisturising'!)

But is isn't the worst list of claims I've seen.

As a top coat, it is pretty darn good.

Price: 1/5 ($19.95 for 13.3mL)
New Name: 5-in-1 Nail Treatment
Effectiveness: 4/5
