Salus - Multi-Vitamin Energetikum

This is a liquid dietary supplement with vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, C, D3, and E. It also has niacin.

It is an orange liquid that smells like reconstituted orange juice.

The taste like breakfast juice.

It is organic, vegan, and gluten-free.

Price: 3/5 ($23.50 for 250mL)
Taste: 5/5

Altapharma - Brausetabletten (Effervescent Tablets) - A + C + E + Selen (Selenium)

These effervescent tablets contain selenium, folic acid, vitamin A, C, and E.

They are a blueberry and lavender flavour which I'm all about.

The taste is really good, except on the tail end I'm detecting the slightest metallic hint.

It's also a pretty colour (although not a colour I would ever wear).

It smells so nice, like the lavender and blueberry it claims to be.

For the price, these are beyond great!

Price: 5/5 ($1.55 for 20 tablets)
Taste: 4.9/5

Nutra Rise - Prenatal Multivitamin

I didn't use these as a prenatal, but as a daily supplement to aid hair and nail growth.
(Prenatal supplements are great for that.)

These have vitamins A, C, D3, E, B12, B1, and B6. They also have niacin, folic acid, calcium, iron, and zinc.

They are medium sized beige tablets

I was very disappointed with them because a lot of the tablets were broken.
Like sand through the hour glass, so is the state of these tablets.

If you were using this as a prenatal, it would be maddening, wondering if you took to little or too much.
As such, I can't recommend this brand.

It did help my hair and nails, but not as well as the Thompson's hair, skin, and nails did.

Price: 3/5 ($23.06 for 60 tablets)
Scent: 2.5/5 (very faint, mineral and acidic vitamin smell)
Effectiveness: 1/5

Soak - Hair Shine Conditioning Shampoo

This is part of a 'superfoods' range and this shampoo touts to have purple kale, vitamin A, manganese, and vitamin K. Did I feel these 'benefits'? Not really. But I'm not a huge fan of this 'superfoods' movement.

To me, it smells a bit like rhubarb and blackcurrent and lathers well.

It cleaned my hair well and did not need a repeat wash.

Price: 1/5 (RRP $7.95 for 100mL)
Scent: 4/5
Effectiveness: 4/5
