Nutra Rise - Prenatal Multivitamin

I didn't use these as a prenatal, but as a daily supplement to aid hair and nail growth.
(Prenatal supplements are great for that.)

These have vitamins A, C, D3, E, B12, B1, and B6. They also have niacin, folic acid, calcium, iron, and zinc.

They are medium sized beige tablets

I was very disappointed with them because a lot of the tablets were broken.

Like sand through the hour glass, so is the state of these tablets.

If you were using this as a prenatal, it would be maddening, wondering if you took to little or too much.
As such, I can't recommend this brand.

It did help my hair and nails, but not as well as the Thompson's hair, skin, and nails did.

O'Clair Health - Hanfpulver Kapseln - Hemp Powder Capsules

These are capsules with two natural phytocannabinoids, which are supposedly good for their cell protective and anti-inflammatory properties.

These have no THC, so they won't get you high.
It's silly that you can't get this in Australia, it cannot be enjoyed recreationally.

I take them at night right before I go to bed because they can make me feel a little nauseous.

Quickcap - Beauty

From the June Glossybox!

This is a pre-measured drink with the powder in the cap.
You fill the bottle with water, put the pop-top cap on and depress the green cap insert to release the powder.

Note the residue.

It is meant to be good for your physical appearance, with biotin (B7) and camu-camu (fancy form of vitamin C).

The bottle itself is quite nice and would be easy to reuse.

The powder dissolves at a decent rate, but little floating stuff remains.

The resulting drink is not effervescent, but is frothy, which is super weird.

If this was a beer, I'd be impressed by the head.

Flavour wise, it is weak (meant to be peach), hollow, and a little metallic.

After drinking it, my stomach hurt.
PB did tell me not to drink it.

Versace - Vanitas - Eau de Parfum

This is one of my all time favourite scents.
Its pink and white flowers, a little powdery, and something about it reminds me of the 1994 Tropical Splash Barbie perfume (which is ultimate perfume goals).
*It is not a dupe though!!!

Masquerade! - Crystal Collagen Gold Powder - Eye Mask

This is a fun, gold, gelatinous eye mask that comes up nice and high on the sides.

Dr. Severin - For Women - Body Aftershave Balm - Original

I got this from the May Glossybox and was really looking forward to trying it.

Before I even took of the seal on this, there was white powder (plastic? free cocaine?!) cap... 

As a balm, it really is more of a gel.
It is soothing, it does the job.

However, you should probably never use it, because of the smell.
It's a mix of generic-male-marine, weird herbs, and hospital disinfectant.
And it's strong.

It is less potent after being on for a little bit, but still there and unpleasant.

It's like they just slapped some lame men's aftershave in a bottle and said 'This is for ladies now!'.

If you are going to sell a product that people they are meant to put over their skin, perhaps don't make it smell like the memory of serious illness.

Update: I noticed a few hours later that it gave me a rash...ugh.

Art Break - Glowing Tree

There is a tree in my parent's driveway that has become naturally hollowed at the base.

I thought it would be fun to make it glow!

I didn't tell PU1 or PU2 of this plan (to incourage brain excercise as they figure out what is going on) and got some glue and glowing powder.

I liked the glue because I can thin it with water.

I waited until they were out and set to work!

Once it was dry, it was a little less obvious.

Dried.

I tried to take a photo at night, but I can't get a long enough exposure.
But it looks cool!

It's eerie!
Now we wait for PU1 to notice it!

NYX - Eyebrow Cake Powder - Blonde

Anything with the word 'cake' in it doesn't make me want to put it on my face.
So not a great start.

I have had this kit for almost 2 years, and it is still good.

Swatches! Darker powder on top. They are not very colour intensive.

There is a colourless wax to flatten stray brow hairs, a light powder and a dark powder, a brush and some sort of miniature bottle cleaner.

I would have liked a pair of tweezers and/or a mirror like you get in other brow kits.
But for the price, it's a great quick fix!
