Shiseido - Bio-Performance - Advanced Super Revitalizer

The packaging is nice, kind of looks like a desk bell.

And I have a sample, which is in a miniature version of the packaging.

It smells soapy, a mix of Olay and soap.

My sample lasted for a week (it was 7mL) and on three of those nights, it had a strong amine smell. Perhaps the formula had separated a bit.
Could it be that it's just a little old?

It was a little waxy on, like a balm.

My skin did look good after using it, but I did notice I was very oily during the day.

Price: 0/5 ($145 for 50mL)

Scent: 1.5/5
Effectiveness: 4/5

Olay - Regenerist - Anti-aging Eye Roller

The little metal rollers (three on this one) feel really nice, as they are cold.
The serum comes out around each of the three metal rollers, which gives a more even application than a single larger roller.

As far as effectiveness, I don't think it makes that much of a difference to my skin around my eyes, but it feels nice and the serum absorbs quickly.

Price: 2/5 ($22.35 for 6mL)
Scent: 2.5/5 (no real scent)
Effectiveness: 3.5/5

Olay - Total Effects - 7 in one - Touch of Max Factor - Fair

For a 'fair' shade, this is really dark.

I guess the idea is to have it thin, but it is still scary.

Oh no.

Once on, it was immediately apparent that it is to dark to get away with.

The coverage is low, it is more of a tint than a foundation.
I like that it has a sun protection factor.

If you are darker than me, this would be ok, in place of a bb cream.

Price: 2/5 (~$25 for 50mL)
Scent: 2.5/5 (mix of classic olay smell and foundation smell)
Effectiveness: 1/5

Olay Moisturising Lotion

Olay has a good reputation and the classic lotion is no exception. I can remember my mother using this back when it was still called Oil of Olay. This is a light, delicately scented lotion which is perfect for the daytime. I would describe the scent as powdery/soapy with some floral notes. If you don't like fragrance on your face, they do sell a fragrance free version.
It soaks into the skin very quickly and leaves your face feeling fresh and not weighed down.

I personally use it as a 'please forgive me' cream for my face... by that I mean if I forget night cream the night before, or if I am dehydrated (possibly from a big night out, no-one can prove anything!), or if the sun has sapped all your moisture, then THIS LOTION WILL BE YOUR SAVIOUR!

So grab a bottle, it isn't expensive, and rest assured that this little secret weapon will have your back.

Price: 5/5

Effectiveness: 5/5
Odour: 5/5 (I love it but there is also a fragrance free version)
