Dove - Original - Anti-Perspirant - Roll On
This is another package calling itself an 'Anti-Transpirant'. Is it a European thing? Can I put it on a plant? Only time will tell I guess.
This deodorant makes the Dove claim to be 1/4 moisturising cream.
It didn't really make a noticeable difference to me, and I think it was more valuable to your skin that it doesn't contain alcohol.
I don't think I agree with it's claim that it lasts for 48 hours, but it was effective for 24 hours and worked well.
It smells very soapy and clean and it isn't too strong, scent-wise.
Price: 5/5 ($2.58 for 50mL)
Scent: 4.5/5
Effectiveness: 5/5

Shiseido - The Skincare - Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam
It cleans the skin really well, getting residual makeup off, and leaving the skin almost squeaky clean.
This will get rid of any oil, which could end up a little drying with long term use.
There are many different types of soaps out there that are probably better suited for whatever effect you want for cheaper.
Give this a miss.
Price: 0.5/5 (~$45 for 130mL)
Scent: 2.5/5
Effectiveness: 5/5

Shiseido - Bio-Performance - Advanced Super Revitalizer
The packaging is nice, kind of looks like a desk bell.
My sample lasted for a week (it was 7mL) and on three of those nights, it had a strong amine smell. Perhaps the formula had separated a bit.
Could it be that it's just a little old?
It was a little waxy on, like a balm.
My skin did look good after using it, but I did notice I was very oily during the day.
Price: 0/5 ($145 for 50mL)

And I have a sample, which is in a miniature version of the packaging.
It smells soapy, a mix of Olay and soap.

Shiseido - The Skincare - Hydro-Nourishing Softener
This clear lotion is surprisingly hydrating.
It keeps skin soft and luminous.
I was really unsure of this product when I first started using it, but don't let it's appearance fool you.
It is like a bottle of good quality sheet mask serum.
It absorbs well and doesn't leave a sticky residue.
Price: 3/5 ($48 for 150ml)
Scent: 4/5 (a faint soapy/floral scent)
Effectiveness: 4.5/5

Shiseido - White Lucent - Brightening Moisturising Emulsion
I quite liked this, the sample even came in a glass bottle, which was really nice.
The scent it faint and almost soapy, but not unpleasant.
It leaves the skin looking really nice.
If I had the money for this I would buy it again.
Price: 1/5 (~$90 for 74mL)

Soap & Glory - The Righteous Butter - Body Moisturizer
This notes that it is a formula for 'very dry skin' and given it is a body butter, I can see that.
It didn't irritate my skin despite my fears it would (the packaging makes it look cheap, cheap = lower quality ingredients).
It smells buttery and soapy, not the best scent, but it isn't a strong scent either.
It was good, but I wouldn't buy it (I got it as a gift)
Price: 3/5 ($21 for 300mL)
Scent: 1/5
Effectiveness: 4/5

Benefit - the Porefessional
This was a sample from a Bellabox and I was so excited to get it. A darling of beauty bloggers, it is well known and well loved.
It came in (what it thinks is, but really isn't) cute packaging, featuring a light blue Carmen Sandiego sans pants.
It was quite a moderate beige (really hope they have other shades), smells soapy, and also feels kind of soapy as well.
As far as coverage, it is surprisingly sheer, so don't bother to use this as a concealer.
As a pore filler (yeah, if you don't like your pores, just put stuff in them to create a new flat surface. Nothing will shrink your pores so don't bother buying products claiming they can.) it would need a foundation on top of it, because it is really obvious!
It is not lightweight, it will not last all day, you will not get velvety soft skin. It cannot stop my oil production (nothing can, so I am the true test of that claim).
I don't see how this is any better than any other primer and don't think it is worth the money.
Price: 0/5 (AUD$53.00 for 22mL on the Benefit website)
Scent: 2/5
Effectiveness: 1/5
