Trilogy - Rosapene Night Cream

This rich night cream from New Zealand has rosapene (rosehip oil and antioxidants), goji berry, and manuka honey.

It smells a little like wheat, but it isn't too strong.

It applies nicely, absorbs super fast, and feels very moisturising.

The brown, frosted glass jar is also nice and adds to an apothecary feel.

I would happily buy this again.

Price: 3/5 ($46,96 for 60mL, I got it on sale)
Scent: 2.5/5
Effectiveness: 5/5

Elemis - Pro-Collagen Marine Cream

This is quite nice.

It has a very faint marine smell, doesn't pill, absorbs well, and makes your face feel tighter.

Looking at the price, it is no wonder it works! :/

Price: 0.5/5 ($200 for 50mL)
Scent: 2.5/5
Effectiveness: 4.5/5

Secret Key - Super Plumping Jelly - Face Cream

This is super hydrating and it does have a visible effect after use.
You can feel your skin get a little firmer/stiffer.

It is a transparent pink jelly, with no strong scent, and a tenancy to fall of your fingers when you try to apply it.

This would be really nice to put on an hour before an event or going out, in order to plump up tired skin.

Price: 2/5 ($47.65 for 50mL)
Scent: 2.5/5 (no strong scent)
Effectiveness: 4/5

The Body Shop - Drops of Light - Pure Healthy Brightening Day Cream

I loved using this, although to be fair, I used it as a night cream.
It has a fresh, clean scent and absorbs well.
It doesn't feel to heavy, so you can wear at during the day.

I love how this made my skin look!

The packaging is sleek and has a nice weight (the jar is made of glass)

Price: 3/5 (RRP $42.95 for 50mL)
Scent: 4.5/5
Effectiveness: 5/5

Garnier - Miracle Sleeping Cream

I brought this for camping (something all-in-one as opposed to my current 3 step process) and it was great ever since. This night cream has a bit of oil in it, so your face is better protected and hydrated while you sleep.
It soaks in well, has lavender oil to help you relax, and doesn't pill up.

I actually gave a jar to my alleged father, he has really fine skin and has not been taking care of it of late (~the past 60 years).

Price: 4/5 ($19.99 for 50mL)
Scent: 5/5
Effectiveness: 5/5

Nivea Daily Essentials Rich Moisturising Day Cream

This is a rich face cream, which I worry may be a bit heavy for daytime, which I used as a night cream. It has an SPF 15 (which does butt-all in this ozone-torn land) but this sunscreen element it did not upset my skin, which is a plus for those with sensitive skin.

It has a nice, clean scent which is non-offensive.

I will note that each morning though after use my face-skin looked kind of haggard... this isn't necessarily the creams fault because I think my face just needs something more moisturising/hydrating.

Price: 4/5
Odour: 4/5
Effectiveness: 1/5 (didn't work great for me)

Olay Moisturising Lotion

Olay has a good reputation and the classic lotion is no exception. I can remember my mother using this back when it was still called Oil of Olay. This is a light, delicately scented lotion which is perfect for the daytime. I would describe the scent as powdery/soapy with some floral notes. If you don't like fragrance on your face, they do sell a fragrance free version.
It soaks into the skin very quickly and leaves your face feeling fresh and not weighed down.

I personally use it as a 'please forgive me' cream for my face... by that I mean if I forget night cream the night before, or if I am dehydrated (possibly from a big night out, no-one can prove anything!), or if the sun has sapped all your moisture, then THIS LOTION WILL BE YOUR SAVIOUR!

So grab a bottle, it isn't expensive, and rest assured that this little secret weapon will have your back.

Price: 5/5

Effectiveness: 5/5
Odour: 5/5 (I love it but there is also a fragrance free version)
Avon Solutions Ageless Accolade Re-contouring night cream

Someone I know is currently selling Avon, so because it was there, I purchased this night cream. It is a pale pink colour in the jar with the slight scent of rosewater. So if you like your face creams unscented, just be aware of that. The cream was thick (good for a night cream) and absorbed pretty well. The 50g jar lasted me (I think) a month and was a reasonable price for the type of product. Unfortunately for you guys, I bought it as part of a set so I can't recall the individual price of each item.

As far as helping with being 'ageless' and 're-contouring', I did not notice such an effect, but without moisturiser (maybe I should change my name to Cassandra? Moisturise me!) I look like poop so it helped on that front.

In conclusion: If you need a night cream and want to help out an Avon selling friend, give it a go!

Price: 4/5

Effectiveness: 3/5
Odour: 5/5 (love me some rose water)
