Mum - Dry - Anti-Perspirant - Cool Pink

I picked out this antiperspirant because my mum used to use it and I wanted to travel back in my olfactory memories, kinda lame I know, but scent is a powerful memory trigger.

However my journey though time went wrong because the scent has since been changed.
It doesn't smell like it did, back in the day when it was in a glass container.

This is the old one I remember:

I could not find a single photo of this online!

Bring back crystal pink!

The scent is pleasant though, powder and floral.
It's a medium strength scent but isn't overbearing.
'Cool pink' is a surprisingly good description of the scent, at least to my synesthesia having butt.

As an antiperspirant it works really well, no breakthrough sweat.

Price: 5/5 ($3.29 for 50mL)
Scent: 5/5
Effectiveness: 5/5

Rexona - Women - Classic Dry

This works well and prevents breakthrough sweating.

It didn't upset my skin.

The scent is a muted purple florals and lavender scent, which is quite pleasant.

Price: 5/5 ($4.20 for 50mL)
Scent: 4.5/5
Effectiveness: 5/5

Rodial - Glamolash - Mascara - XXL - Black

From the May Glossybox!

I LOVE the brush! This longer brush comb really works for me.

It is a little dry formula-wise (had to re-dip the wand a few times), but otherwise gives an acceptable result.

In mine, there are clearly fibres in the formula, but this is not listed as a feature on the website.

However these fibres do not transfer to the lash, so I don't care that much.

However, there are definitely better mascaras for a better price.

Price: 1/5 ($44.86 for 13mL, also all my prices are AUD)
Scent: 1/5 (smells like old house paint)
Effectiveness: 4/5

Book Review - Lady Chatterley's Lover - D. H. Lawrence

This was quite a controversial book at the time which it was originally released (1929), talking directly about the topic of sex.

However in modern times, it is incredibly dry and unenlightened.
There is no real passion, no emotional fall out from acts which would normally trigger it.

You can tell it was written by a man, the thought process of Lady Chatterley is mostly unbelievable.
I would almost suspect that Lawrence was a virgin (or a selfish lover).
The mechanics he describes for sex are mostly wrong.
(He got to the idea of 'P in V', but then it all goes wrong)

Also can he stop saying "b**ch Goddess"... I haven't encountered such unnecessary swearing since the film "In Bruges" (don't bother watching that film).

He uses 'b**ch' more than Shane Dawson!

It gets a little better once Lady Chatterley finds her lover, but is is still not great.

I also resent that our female lead only really becomes interesting once she has a male to 'help her bloom'. Pfft!

Also, putting men in scarlet trousers won't fix everything!
That is just stupid!

This isn't worth the read really, it won't do any good.

Masquerade! - Baroness Pomegranate Mask Sheet

While I like eating pomegranate, I'm not the biggest fan of its scent.
And this sheet mask (to its credit) smelt like the real deal.

This mask also contains apple and it was ok for a quick hydration boost. I found this mask to be a bit dry.

Masquerade! - Jurlique - Purely Age-Defying, Firming Treatment Mask

This mask covers the face and neck, which is fun. However, for a high end brand, this mask was too dry.

It also smelt like Alka-seltzer and pepper :( I was really disappointed.

Rexona Antiperspirant - Confidence Dry

This was ok, still doesn't last as long as the roller ball type, but it was usable.
It clams to be '48h active', but it really only lasts 24 hours if you don't do any physical activity/ get too warm.

The scent is what I would call 'soapy'... it literally smells like soap. To me 'confidence' would smell like alpha person pheromones and a lime/musk/sandalwood/parchment perfume (I don't know if said fragrance exists, but if it did, confident people would wear it).

Just use the roller ball stuff and put it on before you go to bed, so it has time to work and not just get sweated off.

Price: 2/5 ($7.92 at Coles)
Scent: 1/5
Effectiveness: 2.5/5

Masquerade! - Baroness Collagen Mask Sheet

This paper mask was pretty dry, I don't know if it was just mine or all the collagen ones from this brand, but it spoiled the experience.

In addition to collagen, it also has apple and oarweed extract.
