Model Co - Lash & Brow - Growth Stimulator

Yep, another brow growing attempt! But this time, I am the guinea pig XD

The instructions are to apply it once nightly for 28 days.
So here are the before and after shots:

As I used it, I felt my brows looked better and thought they were growing.
But looking at the photos, I can't see any significant difference.
The benefits I perceived were most likely from the serum lining my eyebrow hair up and making them a little darker/thicker because they had the serum on them.

I liked how the serum was translucent, it make it look like it contained more (as opposed to the Lacura version which was clear).

It had a spicy/clinical smell, which was faint.

I really liked the packaging, a sleek silver bullet with a good weight to it.

But at the end of the day, it didn't work.
You would get the same benefit from buying a (no-doubt cheaper) lash gel.

Price: 2/5 ($24.oo for 7 mL)

Lacura - Organic Argan Oil For Nourishment Night Cream

Yay cruddy photo!

Another Aldi product!

This is a very heavy cream. I started using it in the summer and that was a bad idea.
It was so heavy on my skin it made me sweat.
So if you want to use this, use it in winter!

It has a clean, kind of clinical, slightly nutty scent.
It really didn't absorb well, it felt almost more like a barrier cream than a moisturiser.

The packaging is nice though, it feels sturdy and has a cool 'double wall' look.

Price: 5/5 ($8-ish for 50mL)
Scent: 1/5
Effectiveness: 1/5

L'Oreal Paris - Revitalift - Day Cream

Apparently anti-wrinkle and extra firming, my face didn't change much with regular use (but I didn't expect it to either).

Let's go from the outside in.

Solid glass container with some serious weight to it... you could bludgeon someone with it!

NO WITNESSES!

The lid is plastic, but a nice metallic red. The printing on both lid and jar is sleek and simple.

The cream is a good thickness for daywear and smells like sunscreen... which makes sense because it has sunscreen in it.
Funnily enough, I can't find an SPF rating. So I'm going to say it is SPF 1 elephant.

You can't prove otherwise!

It feels moisturising immediately and I quite enjoyed using it.

It contains Pro-Retinol A, vitamin e, and Par-Elastyl (no idea what this last one is).

Close enough.

Price: 2/5 (RRP $32.95 for 50mL)
Scent: 2/5
Effectiveness: 3/5

Daiso - Magical Triple Face Powder

This only cost $1.40... it was not worth $1.40

The packaging is nice: good mirror, sturdy construction.

There was no puff/brush included, which sucked.

The powder itself was an interesting colour choice: white (good highlighter) light blue (ok?) and mid blue (wat?).

I could get behind this, but there is too much glitter/shimmer in this powder to be a good all over face powder.

If i ever need to look like a zombie/dead this will be really handy but until then, this just makes your face look pallid.

I am SET to play the corpse bride one Halloween party.

Price: 5/5
Scent: 2.5/5 (no scent)
Effectiveness: 0/5
