Lacura - Gesichtspflege Öl (Face Care Oil) - Intensive Care - Sensible & Irritierte Haut (Sensitive & Irritated Skin)

This is a yellow facial oil with baobab, pomegranate kernel, and avocado oil.

It is non-irritating and you get a lot.

However it doesn't absorb well. :(

Price: **Currently unavailable, but it was cheap**
Scent: 2.5/5 (no real scent)
Effectiveness: 3/5

Physiogel Hypoallergenic - Daily Moisture Therapy - Intensive Cream

This has no added fragrance, colours, or preservatives.
It is especially aimed at those with very dry, sensitive skin.

The scent is a faint, clinical smell.
When applied, it doesn't really absorb, but rather create a waxy barrier over the skin.
I personally didn't find it that moisturising, it will just keep pre-existing moisture in.

If you really can't handle fragrances, I guess this is good.
My skin is really sensitive thought (it will get mad at even too much water) and can tolerate other, more moisturizing creams.

Price: 1/5 ($28.68 for 100mL)
Scent: 2/5
Effectiveness: 3/5

Lacura Essentials - Detox Me - Firming Body Lotion

This claims to help firm, tighten and tone using a 'silhouette-refining complex' (that is some next level bullsh!ting).
I didn't feel it did these things, but it was still nice.

It also contains goji berry, acai berry, blueberry and coffee.
It smells like macadamia and coconut.

It is thin (like a lotion should be) but doesn't absorb as well as I would like.

Price: 4/5 (~$7 for 200mL, I really should record the price)
Scent: 2/5
Effectiveness: 2/5

Lacura - Organic Argan Oil For Nourishment Night Cream

Yay cruddy photo!

Another Aldi product!

This is a very heavy cream. I started using it in the summer and that was a bad idea.
It was so heavy on my skin it made me sweat.
So if you want to use this, use it in winter!

It has a clean, kind of clinical, slightly nutty scent.
It really didn't absorb well, it felt almost more like a barrier cream than a moisturiser.

The packaging is nice though, it feels sturdy and has a cool 'double wall' look.

Price: 5/5 ($8-ish for 50mL)
Scent: 1/5
Effectiveness: 1/5

Angelic Lily - Nourishing Face Moisturiser

I got this ages ago in a Bellabox and I tried it at the time... it just didn't get reviewed quickly because it was a little container that kept getting to the bottom of my reviewing box.

I HATED THIS!

IT SMELLS LIKE MOULD. I know that mould smell and this is it!
I think they were aiming for 'evergreen' but it stinks like mouldy old rooms in abandoned buildings.

Gosh darn it i don't want to touch it again... It's thick (to thick for a face cream) and forms a film on top of the skin... it isn't absorbing guys... it's waxy?!

Organic and vegan!

You tried, Angelic Lily... now stop.

100% natural!

I need to wash my hands... ew, slimy.

Price: 1/5 ($79 for 125 mL?! heck no!)
Scent: -100/5
Effectiveness: 0/5

Essentials bu Faulding - Vitamin E Cream

Vitamin E is, among other things, is an antioxidant and is associated with tissue repair.
How effective it is in topical treatment I cannot say.
It is however popular and this cream is one example.

The cream itself smells wheat-like and clinical, not a nice thing to walk around smelling of.
The texture is thick, oily, and does not absorb well.

Overall, I don't really like this as it feels like it is trying to be a medicinal treatment and has ignored being pleasant.

Price: 5/5 (RRP $4.45 for 75g)
Scent: 0/5
Effectiveness: 2/5 (as a moisturiser)

GU:AAM Method - Whitening Serum

This came to me by way of Memebox (before they abandoned their Australian fan base) and I wish I could like it.

It is sticky and pills. It doesn't absorb at all and smells really unimpressive (weak/ slightly gross).
It just feels like putting diluted glue on your face, and feels just as beneficial.

It contains black pearl and conchiolin 35... but it is just a waste of the gem...

"I want a brightening serum that doesn't suck" Solution:
This Avon vitamin c serum is amazing!

Price: 2.5/5 ($30 for 60mL)
Scent: 1/5
Effectiveness: 0/5
