Sally Hansen - Advanced Hard as Nails - Strengthener - Nude

This contains Nylon, retinol, soy and omega 3 to re-enforce your nails. 
So if your nails are soft or brittle, this may be a good polish to try.

Napoleon Perdis - Long Black Mascara - Double Black

This was fairly dry when I got hold of it, but not to worry, I know how to revive mascara!

It is ok, the brush is decent this time (although it sits at an odd angle), not the best formula though.

There are better, cheaper mascaras out there.

Sally Hansen - Maximum Growth

The instructions suggest reapplying this everyday... I don't think that much nail polish removal is good for your nails.

It has protein and silk which could help re-enforce your nails, but won't make them grow any faster of better.

This top coat mutes the colour beneath, makes the overall look matte and adds a purple duochrome shift.

One coat, photos don't do it justice!

It adds quite a nice iridescence.

This brand suggests that the supposed benefits of 'superfoods' can be absorbed through the skin.
This is mostly nonsense.

This lotion claims to give you benefits from 2% chia seed... sure...

This smells like aloe vera body lotion, is hydrating, but won't do much else.

First and foremost, THIS IS PINK!

This is your standard easy-to-wash-off tint. 
It doesn't last long and doesn't have a great colour payoff.

I used it as a cheek tint, it was ok.

It's like looking for an embarrassed polar bear in the snow.

You don't have to go for this brand, this type of product is fairly common.

Essie - Multidimensional Top Coat Lacquer - A Cut Above

This is one of my all time favourite nail polishes!
It's a top coat with glitter (specks and hexagons) in a gorgeous soft pink shade.

One coat, photos don't do it justice!

I especially love this over a solid pink nail polish!

Rimmel - Lasting Finish - Powdered Foundation - 002 Soft Beige

This is a pretty nice powder.

It applies well, is low coverage (my personal preference), and has a sponge and mirror in the compact.
It is a little annoying to have to put the mirror down to put more powder on the sponge, but they did it to save space.

The end result isn't cakey, which is ideal.

Garnier - Miracle Wake Up Cream

I liked the night cream from this range, so I thought I'd try the day version.
I regret this decision.

It is tinted (which I guess is ok) which I guess is the 'de-tiring' effect.
It smells like mayonnaise with a tail note of overripe bananas.

It is difficult to get the thickness right. Too thick and it pills during the day, which is not a good look.
But it is quite a thick cream.

I think it wants to make your face matte, but it just makes my skin look dry and haggard. 
It really is not moisturising at all.

I will use the rest of it (probably) but only on days where I don't need my skin to breathe and sweat, not on a day over 15C.
So winter grocery shopping.

Revlon - Colorstay Ultimate - Liquid Lipstick - Buffest Beige

I thought this would just be like a gloss... it's so much better!

Over the Rimmel Vinyl Jelly lip liner in 007 fudge.

It is a shimmery, translucent, pink-beige liquid lipstick that stays on through drinking, eating, and singing.

It only has a faint scent, but smells a little like the fruit notes in brandy.

Revlon - ColorStay Gel Envy - Longwear Nail Enamel - Hot Hand

This is warmer on than the bottle suggests.
This is a cute mid-tone pink.

Two coats.

It isn't fully opaque at two coats, but if you don't have a black cross on your nail, you should get away with it.

Pure Beach - St. Tropez Shampoo - with Coconut & Passionfruit

This is a hotel sample from a recent adventure.

It doesn't really smell of coconut or passionfruit, and it doesn't contain any extracts of either.
It's just a generic shampoo smell.

And it's great for cleaning up blood!

It does, however clean well, lather well, and doesn't leave a residue.

I did use this as an eyeliner, because I don't have grey eyebrows at the moment.

Even used this way, I can tell it will be too hard for an eyebrow pencil. 

The colour intensity is very poor :(

Ulta3 - Special Effects - Peek-a-boo Purple

This is one of the 'water colour' nail polishes.
It is probably the most satisfactory in terms of colour intensity.

Two coats.

A transparent purple polish of little use :p

Physicians Formula - Shimmer Strips - Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Trio - Green Eyes - Black

I'm disappointed in the colour payoff from this.

The colour is quite weak.

It is soft enough but has little flecks of green glitter in it which make it gritty as well.

One pass.
I'm not going to do multiple passes on my eye with this to build up the coverage.
